Grade: specialist in the field of artificial intelligence
Qualification's level: master, second cycle of higher education
Program duration: 1 year and 10 months in full-time mode (105 ECTS credits)
Entry requirements: first cycle of higher education. On a competitive basis
Study includes:
Theoretical study (70 credits ECTS) for subjects of classroom training (lectures, seminars, laboratory works and practical studies) and independent work of students. Educational program consists of normative part and optional part. Normative part includes humanitarian and socio-economic blocks of subjects (12 credits ECTS), natural block and block of professional subjects. The volume of theoretical training which provides the advanced training for getting the basic quatification as system analyst comprises 45 credits ECTS and optional courses — 13 credits ECTS
Fulfillment of course works in the disciplines: Fundamentals of intellectual systems design (1 credit ECTS), Computer information systems design (1 credit ECTS)
Scientific research (7,5 credit ECTS).
Fulfillment of final thesis for master qualification (25.5 credits ECTS)
Credits are awarded to a student in case of successfull assessment of the
education course (written/oral tests or exams), positive evaluation of academic year papers, positive
evalution of reports on the basic specialized practice. A final state test includes
the defence of a master thesis
Results:

knowledge of theory, methods and means to construct artificial intelligence systems;

elaboration of software for expert system;
-
classification architecture, designing stages of expert systems, choosing the type of data base and CASE-tools for them and sphere of application;

knowledge of organisation and control problems when elaborating programmed systems;

knowledge of the methodology to construct and implement computer information systems;
-
acquire knowledge and practice in the sphere of banking and financial information systems from the designer point of view;

knowledge of elaborating and testing software technologies;
-
fundamentals of cryptology and information security;
-
understanding the transition economy analysis problems;
-
knowledge of modern approaches and models construction to analyse reliability and viability characteristics of complex systems;
Knowledge apply:
To use modern models, methods and techniques of artificial intelligence in decision making systems in the sphere of economics and business
The ability to construct expert systems, to use knowledge of artificial intelligence programming tasks and creating knowledge bases for expert systems
The ability to use the acquired methods, rules and techniques of analysis, design, construction, testing and control of complex program development based on the existing standards regulating the main program engineering processes
To create computer information system structure depending on the input data, to substantiate the type of the data base control system and elaborate software for it
To understand and be able to construct banking information systems. The ability to work effectively in the designers team of such systems
To elaborate software for decision making support and expert systems, to debug and test the created software
To use knowledge of classical and modern symmetrical cryptographical systems and cryptographical protocols in information security systems
The ability to perform structural analysis of transition economy and to
construct mathematical models
Independently construct models to analyse complex systems
characteristics, and choose ways to improve system functioning qualities.
